I bought my Jet Mini Lathe a week ago and I love it. It’s alot easier to use than I thought it would be. I made five pens the first weekend of a few different types of wood. So far I have only tried the slimline pens, but I’m going back to the local Woodcraft Store tomorrow to buy some different styles. Here is a picture of what I’ve made so far (the ones that turned out good anyways)
This is a magnifying glass I made for my father-in-law’s birthday. The handle is made of pecan. I will also be making him a matching pen and pencil set.
